Warfarin Scam – Please be awareJuly 2010 A recent 'scam' has been brought to our attention involving patients taking warfarin. A company called Sandra Wellbeing, located in Bexley has been calling patients using the same tactics as an earlier incident reported in June this year, when a 'Rep from a drug company phoned patients offering a wonder drug, in some cases were told to stop taking their warfarin all together. High pressure to release their debit/credit card numbers in exchange for this drug was put on them. The 'caller' seemed to know all about their medical condition and also their NHS numbers.

If you receive any such phone calls, please report immediately.
