Management Of Minor InjuriesNovember 2011 The surgery is open from 7.30am until 6.30pm every weekday. If you suffer with a minor injury (Click this link for further details) please come to the surgery to have it treated and save yourself the hassle of going to A & E.

Flu VaccinationSeptember 2011 It's that time of year again when those aged over 65 years or suffering with various chronic conditions should be booking their flu vaccination at the surgery. Click this link to see who is eligible.

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) wants to know your viewsSeptember 2011The PPG & GPs are keen to find out more about what you think of the practice.  We are trying to collect the views from as many patients as possible by requesting you complete this short questionnaire.  It shouldn't take more than a few minutes to answer. The PPG will review the data collected in collaboration with Dr Jenkins & the Practice Manager. We will use the responses to agree an action plan with the intention of making services better for all our patients. Your response is confidential, but the action plan will be made available for all patients to read in the waiting room and here on the practice website.

Creating a Virtual PPGSeptember 2011You may be aware that the PPG have played an active part in the surgery's life for over two years now.  We are always keen to recruit new members, particularly those from the younger age groups.  This would help our group become more representative for all registered patients. If you would be happy for the PPG members to contact you occasionally to seek your opinion on various issues please complete the attached form and return to reception. Thank you.

Warfarin StartersSeptember 2011When the doctor commences you on warfarin therapy they will ask that you make a 20 minute appointment with the Practice Nurses or Health Care Assistant. This appointment will be an opportunity to offer health advice and education to help you to feel confident with managing your warfarin therapy. Please ask the receptionists to make you an appointment at a convenient time.
If any patient receiving warfarin has any queries relating to their therapy please contact Jackie or Alison, nurses, at the practice, who would be most happy to help.

We have signed up to the principles listed in the attached charter to try and help you access the highest quality of care and support to allow you to live as well as you can, including having a peaceful death ideally in the setting you choose.
